The year has just begun and at Maglificio Pini we are finalizing preparations for the first event: the appointment is in Florence with Pitti Filati, from 25 to 27 January.
The theme of Pitti Filati 92 is PITTIWAY: pop and street atmospheres come together in perfect symbiosis, conquering the spaces of Pitti Immagine January Salons. In a world where uncertainty seems dominant, movement is seen as a common factor that binds individuals and their choices, between accelerations and braking, stimuli of all kinds and paths to take. Every sense is involved and new digital tools, from algorithms to biometric identities, complete an evolving present. In this multifaceted universe, Pitti Filati becomes a compass to intercept and define new directions to explore, a true signpost towards the future.
Thus, following this inspiration, the Maglificio Pini stand welcomes a stimulating and multifaceted reflection, in balance between the values of tradition, which have their roots in the art of knitwear, and the impetus towards the future, thanks to latest generation technologies, materials research, new use of fabrics and constant attention to a conscious use of resources.
At the Fortress, in particular, we will present the new collection by Maglificio Pini, which on the one hand tries to provide new suggestions, on the other shows off skill and mastery of complex processes, to be touched with your hands and observed in every detail.
We started from the inspiration for the 19th century corsetry, embarking on a path of liberation of the body and progress, embracing sporty and casual models alongside the sophisticated elegance of times gone by. Our expertise is not lacking, which emerges in the use of stitches, decorations, contrasting materials.
