A journey between New York and Paris to discover the must-haves of next autumn-winter, among which the creations of Maglificio Pini are also protagonists.

As we have already said, the trends of the next season FW 24/25 oscillate between baroque art, cartography and pop in their inspirations. The sumptuous silhouettes and fabrics were also the undisputed protagonists of the collections presented during the Fashion Weeks in New York and Paris. On the catwalks, between February and March, the garments developed by Maglificio Pini they helped shape multifaceted ideas, capable of truly making each piece a work of art.

From the catwalks to the collections: the trends that define the season

Several key trends emerge from the fashion shows that will influence the upcoming autumn and winter season:

  • Transparencies and sensuality: Khaite led the way with dresses that reveal the skin in a refined and playful way, between delicate knits and sensual drapes.
  • Sculptural dresses: the silhouette was the absolute protagonist, with defined lines and important volumes; thus, structured knitted garments arrive, capable of enhancing the figure with elegance and modernity.
  • Fringes for a touch of movement: fringes continue to embellish garments, giving a touch of dynamism and personality, made with fine yarns and sophisticated workmanship.
  • Oversized love: comfortable and warm, oversized sweaters and scarves are a must-have to protect yourself from the cold without forgetting elegance, as in the Brandon Maxwell fashion shows.

In general, contrasts between materials and settings dominate: contrasting fabrics, such as delicate transparencies and full-bodied knits, create a fascinating play of shapes.

Prints and monochromes for an eclectic palette

Among the autumnal colours, olive green, chocolate, red in all its shades, ochre, silver grey and electric blue dominate. Alongside the protagonists of the colour palette, it is possible to play with bold patterns and combinations:

  • Leopard print revisited: a timeless classic that is renewed with the jacquard technique and a black and white palette, as for Galvan London.
  • Bold monochrome: a single color, available in all its shades, dominates the scene with rich color palettes and intense tones.

So, while year after year trends change and look to the future, at Maglificio Pini we do not forget mastery and attention to detail that have always accompanied us. Here is one of our secrets to always be in step with the times and look forward without fear of venturing into the new.
