Maglificio Pini stays open through December to focus on sustainability and reduction of the environmental impact and a few surprises for 2021.
December means Christmas, holidays and festive mood. As we all know, this Christmas will be a little different from the past ones – just like 2020 has been nothing alike any year we have lived so far.
As usual at Maglificio Pini we are doing our best to be close – with a distance! – to our customers, suppliers and friends. To do that, we have been working at a few Christmas treats.
We have created the board Christmas Inspo on Pinterest, where you can find festive knits and swatches celebrating the holiday season.
In addition to aran inspired jacquard swatches, hand embroidery and red jumpers we have selected garments with cables and (fake) fur and unleashed the artist inside us to create knitted decorations with different techniques. We have developed Christmas balls, gingerbread men, Santa hats and much more! Check out our Pinterest board and follow @maglificiopini. Do you want to receive close up of the swatches via e-mail? Send your enquires to archivio@maglificiopini.com.
We will be open through December and we won’t close for the holidays. Having a break for some people is a great way to recharge and restart in the best possible way, but we like to recharge while shaping the future of our company with new, exciting projects.
Among these, sustainability and the reduction of the environmental impact of our company as we are well aware that a healthy planet means healthy people and that every little gesture count.
We are supporting and advising using recycled and fsc certified yarns, also through partnerships with mills. Maglificio Pini has also chosen to be part of the integrated and advanced no-waste supply chain Re.Verso™ which gives new life to scrap yarn, respecting the environment to cultivate a better future.
But not only: we have a strong connection with Politecnico in Milan, where we are regularly sending leftover yarn from development and production in order for students to use it for their knitwear projects.
Keep in touch with us to discover our upcoming projects: 20221 will be full of surprises!
